You can season pumpkin seeds with any kind of spices that you can find in your kitchen from ground chili, to cinnamon to paprika and curry.

Here's how to roast pumpkin seeds.

In order to be crisp, the seeds should be very fresh, just taken out of the pumpkin and very roughly washed.

  1. Oil the clean, dry seeds and spice them with cinnamon, paprika or any other spice that you like
  2. Place the pumpkin seeds on a baking tray.
  3. Bake in the oven, at 175°C (350°F), for about 25 minutes until they are the desired colour.
  4. If you are baking them without any spices, add salt according to taste.

Roasted pumpkin seeds are a great and healthy snack. You can also use them to top you salads or serve them as sides for pasta and sandwiches.
